OVRL is a licensed and insured drone service provider. We operate under our own ReOC (Remote Operators Certificate) with our drone pilots all having their RePL (Remote Pilots License). In controlled airspace, we can submit a notice to airmen (NOTAM) so that air traffic (planes and helicopters) can see our intent to fly drones in a controlled area (such as Albury Airport).
Why use us over an unlicensed drone operator?
It’s simple, its fully legal, and fully insured. In the event an unlicensed drone operator has an incident that causes injury or damage to property, there’s no insurance. Our service to you is logged, risk assessed and a job safety analysis is submitted to our chief remote pilot, assessed for safety and then approved. This system is now cost effective as we no longer have to apply for an $800 permit and wait 28 days for the governing body to approve. We simply need location, date and a brief from you, and we submit all the required documents, and weather permitting, perform the job safely and insured so you have peace of mind that if anything should go wrong, you’re protected financially.
